- Oversee the design and optimization of new product prototypes, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, environmental, and industrialization standards.
- Lead the creation of prototypes for various purposes including research, showroom display, industrialization, and innovation.
- Manage the development of comprehensive prototyping dossiers to facilitate smooth industrial handover.
- Initiate quality risk analysis in collaboration with site quality services and communicate findings to the headquarters.
- Coordinate the costing of prototypes and supervise the calculation of loss rates and environmental impact indices.
- Mentor and develop a team of model makers, prototypists, and designers, ensuring adherence to design briefs and timelines.
- Facilitate skills development through training programs and cross-functional projects.
- Act as a liaison between style coordinators, headquarters design teams, and site prototyping teams.
- Promote workplace safety and ergonomics through active participation in health and safety initiatives.
- Ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) by managing project risks and proposing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of leather goods processes and materials.
- Proven ability to manage activities in a high-demand environment.
