1. Oversee the design and optimization of new product prototypes, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, environmental, and industrialization standards.
2. Lead the creation of prototypes for various purposes including research, showroom display, industrialization, and innovation.
3. Manage the development of comprehensive prototyping dossiers to facilitate smooth industrial handover.
4. Initiate quality risk analysis in collaboration with site quality services and communicate findings to the headquarters.
5. Coordinate the costing of prototypes and supervise the calculation of loss rates and environmental impact indices.
6. Mentor and develop a team of model makers, prototypists, and designers, ensuring adherence to design briefs and timelines.
7. Facilitate skills development through training programs and cross-functional projects.
8. Act as a liaison between style coordinators, headquarters design teams, and site prototyping teams.
9. Promote workplace safety and ergonomics through active participation in health and safety initiatives.
10. Ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) by managing project risks and proposing solutions.
