Louis Vuitton Prototyping Manager

- Ensure the realization and optimization of new product designs, considering cost, quality, environmental, and industrialization requirements.
- Supervise the creation of prototypes for research, showroom presentations, and industrialization.
- Oversee the completion of comprehensive prototyping documentation.
- Initiate quality risk analysis in collaboration with the site quality service and share findings with the headquarters' finished product quality team.
- Manage the costing of prototypes with the time reference.
- Supervise the calculation of loss rates and environmental impact indices.
- Lead and develop the team of prototype makers, ensuring adherence to design briefs, quantity, quality, and deadlines.
- Facilitate skill development through training programs in collaboration with the training service.
- Coordinate the introduction of new designs on-site, acting as a liaison between style coordinators, the design team at headquarters, and the site prototyping team.
- Participate in health, safety, and environmental projects within the prototyping department.
- Conduct safety and health audits within the prototyping area.
- Understand and manage key health, safety, ergonomics, and environmental issues in the sector.
- Anticipate ergonomic risks by initiating ergonomic risk analysis from the style go-ahead.
- Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac +5) in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of leather goods processes and materials.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving orientation and adaptability.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Continuous learning mindset with a keen interest in luxury leather goods trends and market developments.
At least 3 years of experience in team management and prototyping within the luxury leather goods sector.
Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac +5) in a relevant field.
