Louis Vuitton Prototyping Manager

- Oversee and optimize the design and development of new products, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, environmental, and timing requirements.
- Supervise the creation of prototypes for research, showroom presentations, and industrialization processes.
- Manage the preparation of comprehensive prototyping documentation.
- Initiate quality risk analysis in collaboration with the site quality service and share findings with the headquarters' finished product quality team.
- Lead the cost estimation of prototypes with the time reference expert.
- Supervise the calculation of loss rates and environmental impact indices.
- Guide and enhance the skills of the prototyping team, ensuring adherence to design briefs and quality standards.
- Facilitate skill development through training programs and cross-functional projects related to product culture.
- Coordinate the introduction of new products, acting as a liaison between style coordinators, the design team, and the prototyping team.
- Promote safety and ergonomics within the prototyping department, participating in health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
- Conduct safety and health audits within the prototyping area, understanding key health, safety, ergonomic, and environmental issues.
- Anticipate ergonomic risks by initiating risk analysis from the style approval stage.
- Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Bac +5).
- In-depth knowledge of leather goods processes and materials.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity and awareness of luxury leather goods market trends.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in management and team leadership within the luxury leather goods sector.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
