Louis Vuitton Prototype Specialist

1. Create prototypes following project specifications using manual skills, advanced computer knowledge, and specialized technical expertise.
2. Focus on the production of eyewear prototypes with some work on fashion jewelry and metal or plastic components.
3. Perform bench work for prototype creation.
4. Work with metals including small welding and galvanizing.
5. Process plastics including painting.
6. 3D modeling for interfacing with metal and resin printers.
7. Use CNC machines and CAM programming for component creation.
8. Operate 3D printing machines.

1. Technical diploma
2. Previous experience in similar roles within the eyewear industry
3. Knowledge of Office suite, Rhinoceros, Rhino NC (or similar)
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings and identify production issues
5. Knowledge of English or French is a plus
6. Dynamic and proactive

10. High level of problem-solving skills

At least 5 years of experience in similar positions within the eyewear industry.
