Louis Vuitton Production Director

- Oversee the production strategy across various workshops, ensuring alignment with short, medium, and long-term objectives.
- Manage production workshops to maximize service rates and efficiency.
- Coordinate workload plans with stakeholders, ensuring adherence to timelines, costs, and quality standards.
- Ensure production capacity aligns with requirements, maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor industrial investments and manage production plans and projects.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a lean manufacturing approach.
- Develop and monitor performance indicators, reporting to management and addressing production issues proactively.
- Guide the methods and industrialization team to support production effectively.
- Collaborate with HR to develop staff, focusing on recruitment, talent development, and training.
- Maintain strong relationships with external suppliers to optimize production flows.
- Promote synergies between workshops to ensure product compliance and quality throughout the production chain.
- Lead digital transformation projects within workshops, enhancing activity monitoring.
- Engineering degree or equivalent with significant experience in mechanics, microtechnology, or related fields.
- Proven experience in industrial planning and management, particularly in watchmaking, with oversight of multiple workshops and a large team.
- Demonstrated pragmatic and supportive leadership with assertive communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a focus on anticipation and prioritization.
- Proficiency in industrial management tools and lean manufacturing; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
