- Assist in the development of metal parts and materials for rigid products such as trunks and luggage.
- Support the senior developer in material research and sourcing.
- Understand stylist and designer needs, providing technical support and proposing industrialization solutions.
- Prepare and engage in development stages, ensuring feasibility and quality of new materials.
- Launch and monitor sample production.
- Support sites in material procurement for product prototypes.
- Formalize design needs and draft specifications considering usage.
- Analyze technical risks and implement actions to mitigate them.
- Define, develop, and validate material designs with suppliers.
- Validate quality and usability of materials through laboratory analysis and workshop testing.
- Assist suppliers in resolving industrialization and production start-up issues.
- Manage technical data including product sheets and plans.
- Lead a project focused on technical or quality improvement.
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school, possibly with a third cycle in fashion or innovation management.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Project management enthusiasm.
- Passion for material and product development, innovation, and creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable with technical drawing and plan reading.
