Louis Vuitton Merchandising Manager

- Develop and expand the Women's Ready-to-Wear and Shoes business in the South Asia Zone, ensuring sales maximization within sell-through parameters.
- Define and coordinate strategies and objectives in collaboration with Inter-departmental Managers, Country Managers, and the Paris Merchandising Department, focusing on buying, collection launch, development, distribution strategy, pricing, visual merchandising, training, and incentives.
- Implement a coherent and efficient reporting strategy to monitor sales and sell-through performance.
- Support stores in achieving sales objectives and participate in buying trips to ensure optimal product selection.
- Explore the potential of Women's Ready-to-Wear and Shoes in South Asia, proposing and driving business through action plans.
- Monitor stock levels and collection performance, especially for new launches, and work proactively with relevant departments to maximize launch impact and sell-through.
- Arrange new product stock for store openings, renovations, and CRM events.
- Propose and manage reliable weekly and monthly reports, providing insights to drive actions.
- Utilize major sales data programs like NEMO and Power BI for data analysis and action plan development.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Logistics Department to ensure relevant distribution.
- Coordinate and follow up on CRM events and partner with digital counterparts for successful online launches.
- Work with the Visual Merchandising team to enhance plans in line with launch and sales objectives.
- Prepare training tools and organize zone training based on needs and new product launches.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Ready-to-Wear merchandising environment and luxury retail.
- Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-initiative, team player, and willingness to learn.
- Adaptability and flexibility to accept new ideas and procedures.
- Resilience in dealing with ambiguity and stress.
A minimum of 5 years in a Ready-to-Wear merchandising environment and luxury retail is required.
