Louis Vuitton Merchandising Assistant Manager

- Achieve sales objectives as set by the Merchandising Manager.
- Act as a liaison between country/store and zone team.
- Monitor stock levels, especially for new launches, and collaborate with Supply Chain Department and Zone merch to maximize launch impact and sell-through.
- Support countries in achieving yearly budget targets.
- Develop market and client knowledge.
- Arrange stock for new store openings and renovations.
- Propose and manage reliable and adequate weekly/monthly reports and relevant analysis.
- Motivate sales staff to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
- Develop events and incentives to grow the customer base, with emphasis on the local market.
- Maintain high standards of customer service daily within stores.
- Assist sales associates with customer service issues, including dissatisfied customers, returns, and defective merchandise.
- Partner with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure appropriate assortment and inventory levels.
- Provide weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports.
- Administer follow-up and paperwork accurately and timely.
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Work closely with Supply Chain & Logistics Department to ensure relevant distribution.
- Support with relevant commercial information to enhance sales.
- Coordinate and follow up on CRM events, maintaining close relationships with VIPs and high-spending clients.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to enhance VM plans in line with launching plans and sales objectives.
- Prepare training tools and deliver product training at launch.
- 5-8 years of relevant retail merchandising experience.
- Strong analytical ability, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Proficient in PC literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pleasant demeanor, self-initiative, articulate, and team-oriented.
- Strong enthusiasm for learning, with a passion for Louis Vuitton products and fashion.
- Adaptable and fast learner with a client-centric mentality.
- Professional attitude with curiosity and empathy, positively challenging oneself and the team to deliver excellence.
Minimum of 5 years in retail merchandising.
