Louis Vuitton Maintenance Mechanic

- Perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment, including cutting, prep, and assembly machinery.
- Complete projects safely and efficiently, focusing on customer satisfaction, including installation of new lines and workshop reorganization.
- Ensure daily operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by conducting preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
- Collaborate with Product Developers, Process Engineers, Continuous Improvement Engineers, and Production Supervisors to support operations.
- Identify root cause problems and implement effective solutions.
- Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Modify machine dimensions using various mechanical tools.
- Prepare daily work status reports.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Contribute to team efforts and rework projects as needed.
- Partner with vendors, security, and contractors.
- Participate in company improvement projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Two-year Technical Degree in Electro-Mechanics or a related field, or four years of equivalent experience.
- Proven technical skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with PLC programming, fabrication, and maintenance work order software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech production environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Two-year Technical Degree in Electro-Mechanics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
