- Conduct material research and sourcing for leather in alignment with marketing briefs for the Leather Goods Creation teams.

- Maintain a constant awareness of market innovations and share insights with designers.
- Expand professional networks through visits to competitors, suppliers, and specialized trade shows.
- Organize and oversee the procurement of materials necessary for product prototyping, ensuring adherence to timelines and requirements.
- Create and manage new material entries in the database to facilitate project development.
- Monitor budget adherence and update orders in the PLM system.
- Ensure materials meet Louis Vuitton's quality standards and project cost and capacity frameworks.
- Coordinate sourcing activities between Style and Suppliers during the creation phase.
- Collaborate with material developers and project buyers to build collections.
- Facilitate the transition between development phases and ensure alignment with material strategy.
- Engage with style and marketing stakeholders to ensure collection coherence with budget constraints.
- Lead supplier panel activities through strategic roadmaps.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within the fashion industry, including ready-to-wear, leather goods, sportswear, lingerie, technical clothing, or accessories.
- Strong project management and budgeting skills.
- Proficiency in PLM and CCPM tools is advantageous.
- Creativity and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
- Fluency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within the fashion industry.
Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
