Louis Vuitton Leather Development Engineer

- Industrialize leather collections in collaboration with suppliers, validating design and manufacturing processes.
- Approve leathers through laboratory testing, process validation, control audits, and aesthetic criteria.
- Ensure leather assembly in collaboration with the finished product manufacturing site.
- Propose optimizations throughout the industrialization process to enhance material design.
- Manage innovation projects related to materials, including design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in development or industrialization roles.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Fluency in French and English; Italian proficiency is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and with precision in a demanding environment.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Passion for product and material creation, fashion, and luxury.
Candidates must possess at least 8 years of experience in development or industrialization roles, with a proven track record in project management and collaboration with creative and industrial teams.
