Louis Vuitton Intern - Product Development Assistant for Knitwear and Jersey

- Assist in the development of Men's Ready-to-Wear Collections focusing on knitwear and jersey products.
- Support material and yarn sourcing processes.
- Organize supplier meetings and manage seasonal quality dossiers.
- Monitor selected qualities with manufacturers, including minimums, pricing, and deadlines.
- Provide support in finding replacement qualities for technical constraints.
- Manage selected swatches and create summary binders with samples and technical sheets.
- Update the fabric and yarn inventory to optimize seasonal purchases.
- Prepare and validate fabric and yarn launch sheets.
- Create and code data in PLM, ensuring updates are communicated to the studio, production, and marketing.
- Receive lab dips and verify supplier orders.
- Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager on material and yarn developments.
- Participate in model development and fittings.
- Create PLM nomenclature sheets for knitwear and jersey.
- Ensure receipt of collection estimates and assist in quality and production meetings.
- Currently enrolled in a design, fashion, or business school, or equivalent university program.
- Knowledge of purchasing and jersey/knit materials is advantageous.
- Product sensitivity, particularly in men's fashion.
- Fluency in English is essential; Italian is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication.
- Attention to detail and dynamic adaptability.
- Versatility in handling multiple projects.
Entry-level experience; suitable for students or recent graduates.
Currently pursuing a degree in design, fashion, business, or a related field.
