- Oversee the development and implementation of health and safety strategies in alignment with the company's logistics and industrial safety policies.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of the risk assessment document, updating it regularly and engaging management in its application.
- Act as a liaison for safety-related matters within the warehouse, including equipment and facility safety checks.
- Collaborate with external contractors to evaluate on-site risks and ensure adherence to preventive measures.
- Monitor workplace accidents, maintain records, and develop preventive and corrective action plans in coordination with HR.
- Design and implement health and safety training programs for new employees and ongoing staff development.
- Promote a culture of health and safety through communication and engagement initiatives.
- Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) availability and distribution.
- Coordinate the workplace health strategy, ensuring effective implementation and performance analysis.
- Lead monthly health and safety committee meetings and report key indicators to central management.
- Analyze absenteeism and occupational health issues, developing action plans with HR.
- Participate in ergonomic solution development to enhance working conditions.
- Develop and manage the site's environmental management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.
- Coordinate projects aimed at economic and environmental improvements, such as energy efficiency and waste management.
- Conduct contract reviews with environmental service providers and manage environmental performance indicators.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
- 5 to 10 years of experience in an industrial setting.
