Responsibilities
- Develop and update the Risk Assessment Document and preventive measures for workplace safety and health.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare, control, and update company procedures and operational instructions related to health, safety, and environment.
- Promote a safety culture by coordinating worker information and training activities.
- Manage and verify the correct use of company PPE.
- Coordinate health surveillance of workers in collaboration with the Competent Doctor and Human Resources.
- Plan mandatory safety training in coordination with Human Resources.
- Coordinate emergency and incident prevention and response.
- Prepare necessary documentation for managing interferences related to subcontracted activities.
- Generate reports on accidents, near misses, and safety and environmental KPIs.
- Support supervisors in ensuring compliance with safety procedures and operational instructions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Coordinate third-party activities related to waste management and procedures.
- Verify supplier authorizations for waste transport and disposal and update documents.
- Promote an environmental culture by coordinating worker information and training activities.
- Manage routine and extraordinary maintenance of the facility and machinery.
- Handle contractual activities with external companies for maintenance services within the assigned budget.
- Draft and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment and systems.
- Define and monitor KPIs to ensure operational efficiency of machinery and equipment.
- Manage the company vehicle fleet and related policies.
- Coordinate maintenance of fixed and portable fire protection equipment on site.
Qualifications
- Technical Engineering degree or Master's in Health, Safety, and Environment topics.
- RSPP training with modules A+B+C certification.
- Qualification as a Health and Safety Trainer.
Skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and result-oriented skills.
- Excellent communication and team facilitation skills.
- Ability to understand and negotiate contractual terms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in industrial settings.
Education Requirements
Technical Engineering degree or Master's in Health, Safety, and Environment topics.
