1. Oversee a team of HSE professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their effectiveness.
2. Initiate cross-functional collaboration to develop innovative ergonomic tools and improve employee working conditions.
3. Facilitate inter-site dialogue on HSE topics to ensure effective communication across departments.
4. Support and coach leadership and management teams in adopting health and safety basics as part of the FOCUS approach.
5. Define and implement the HSE roadmap in collaboration with Workshop Management, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Act as a liaison for all departments on health and safety matters, including risk analysis and compliance of equipment.
7. Develop and monitor environmental analysis and health/safety indicators.
8. Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 14001/ISO 45001.
9. Conduct regular self-assessments and assessments of other workshops to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

1. Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
2. Professional designation such as OHST, ASP, or CSP is desirable.
3. 8+ years of experience with leadership responsibilities.
4. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

1. Knowledge of OSHA / Cal OSHA regulations and compliance.
2. Experience with ergonomics and physical skill analysis.
3. Workers compensation and emergency preparedness experience.
4. Self-driven with excellent organizational and time management skills.
5. Proven effective oral and written communication skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
7. Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
8. Fluency in English and French; Spanish is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities.

Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
