- Oversee a team of HSE professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their effectiveness.
- Initiate cross-functional collaboration to develop innovative ergonomic tools and improve employee working conditions.
- Facilitate inter-site dialogue on HSE topics to ensure effective communication across departments.
- Support and coach leadership and management teams in adopting health and safety basics as part of the FOCUS approach.
- Define and implement the HSE roadmap in collaboration with Workshop Management, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Act as a liaison for all departments on health and safety matters, including risk analysis and compliance of equipment.
- Develop and monitor environmental analysis and health/safety indicators.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 14001/ISO 45001.
- Conduct regular self-assessments and assessments of other workshops to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
- Professional designation such as OHST, ASP, or CSP is desirable.
- 8+ years of experience with leadership responsibilities.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA / Cal OSHA regulations and compliance.
- Experience with ergonomics and physical skill analysis.
- Workers compensation and emergency preparedness experience.
- Self-driven with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proven effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Fluency in English and French; Spanish is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities.
Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
