- Participate in defining and implementing the region's overall strategy as a member of the Regional Steering Committee.
- Optimize finance team tasks and processes, focusing on accounting, controlling, consolidation, financial closings, cash management, banking, and tax relations.
- Define and manage the annual budget process with regional stakeholders, ensuring compliance and optimization.
- Analyze financial results and prepare detailed reports for management, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.
- Manage regional investments (CAPEX) to ensure optimal use of financial resources and project profitability.
- Collaborate with department heads to drive financial performance and guide decisions related to stores, activities, or products.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance of financial and operational processes.
- Maintain strong interactions with EMEA and Corporate Finance on strategic subjects, ensuring alignment of financial and strategic objectives.
- Analyze business trends to anticipate market developments and adjust financial strategies accordingly.
- Oversee facilities, security, and IT departments, ensuring compliance with safety and security policies.
- Supervise and direct management control, accounting, facilities, and IT teams, fostering a motivating work environment.
- Degree in finance, accounting, or controlling management.
- Progressive experience of at least 15 years in various finance positions.
- Mastery of financial tools and reporting systems.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and information synthesis skills.
- Pragmatic and caring leadership with assertive communication.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment requiring agility and initiative.
A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, including a successful tenure as a Financial Director, preferably in the retail, FMCG, or hospitality sector. Familiarity with financial, fiscal, and banking relations between Europe and the United Kingdom is advantageous.
Degree in finance, accounting, or controlling management.
