Louis Vuitton Finance Accountant

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and inventory accounting across stores.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closings in accordance with local Korean statutory principles and Group reporting standards.
- Prepare and report financial statements, treasury, and capex using Group software.
- Review and validate journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage cash flow, payment cycles, and intercompany transactions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate stock valuation and collaborate with Supply Chain on shrinkage and stock adjustments.
- Serve as a business partner for stakeholders, providing training and knowledge transfer on accounting principles and internal control standards.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes with accounting insights.
- Lead the relationship with external auditors, preparing documentation and audit reports.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements, including VAT, corporate tax, and customs reporting.
- Lead tax filing processes with external tax consultants and headquarters.
- Strengthen internal controls over daily store reconciliations and inventory.
- Participate in and lead accounting aspects of new company projects.
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, ideally within the luxury retail or FMCG industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- CPA, AICPA, or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills in managing accounting teams.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Native Korean and fluent in English.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Business-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
- Experience managing multi-store operations and inventory accounting.
- Ability to drive support functions effectively.
Minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance, preferably within luxury retail or FMCG sectors.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
