- Define stock targets for stores, ensuring alignment with sales potential and current stock situations.
- Secure seamless store replenishment and update distribution parameters as necessary.
- Anticipate seasonal peaks and prepare stock accordingly.
- Provide visibility to Merchandising and Retail teams for new product launches.
- Set up distribution for new store openings and organize stock support for renovations and events.
- Optimize stock levels across the network, ensuring stock value growth is slower than sales growth.
- Ensure timely stock rebalancing and manage out-of-offer products.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as overstock and availability to mitigate obsolescence risks.
- Maintain product status in the Order Management System and fulfill client orders through stock support and rebalancing.
- Communicate closely with stores to provide visibility on order fulfillment and monitor rejection and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Merchandising, Retail, and Central teams to align on inventory and supply chain strategies.
- Participate in global supply chain projects, representing Japan's interests and challenging the status quo to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track supply chain metrics and analyze datasets for insights.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or retail fulfillment operations.
- Fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI or equivalent programming skills (VBA, SQL) is advantageous.
- SAP experience is beneficial.
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure.
- Client-centric approach with a commercial mindset.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Team player with adaptability and openness to new ideas.
Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain Management or retail fulfillment operations.
