- Enhance the site's operational performance by identifying significant losses and proposing corrective actions in collaboration with management control.
- Plan and execute improvement projects with production and support teams to boost operational performance in areas such as materials and labor.
- Guide managers in implementing managerial and organizational changes, setting objectives, and tracking performance gains.
- Prepare and lead performance reviews at both local and central levels.
- Lead and manage the site's Methods team, proposing innovative initiatives for significant performance breakthroughs.
- Deploy impactful cross-functional projects.
- Ensure new employees receive tailored training and coaching.
- Coordinate and conduct Lean tools training sessions, including Kaizen workshops and MRP.
- Participate in designing internal training modules.
- Define and maintain organizational, production, and performance management standards with managers.
- Ensure adherence to standards on the ground.
- Promote Lean initiatives and participate in the RAC network for sharing best practices and cross-functional workgroups.
- Represent production teams as a Lean expert in company-wide improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of education in engineering, business school, university, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role with a strong Lean Manufacturing component.
- Proficiency in Lean tools with practical field experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with natural leadership and initiative.
- Ability to maintain a global perspective of company functions and their interactions.
- Proficiency in IT tools, with additional knowledge in finance/management considered an asset.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
Minimum of 10 years in a similar role with a strong Lean Manufacturing component.
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of education in engineering, business school, university, or equivalent.
