- Act as a change agent by motivating change and implementing continuous improvement processes.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to identify and develop solutions for operational improvement.
- Mentor associates in lean tools, ensuring knowledge transfer and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collect and analyze data on plant processes and performance, making recommendations for improvement to the Leadership Team.
- Supervise product and process improvement landmarks to ensure timely completion and sustainability.
- Analyze, develop, implement, and standardize manufacturing best practices across the network.
- Audit established Lean Manufacturing processes to ensure sustainability.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering with an emphasis in Lean Manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in operational improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to facilitate and influence direction.
- Knowledge of lean concepts and tools (5S, visual workplace, mistake proofing, PDCA, standard work, etc.).
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools (Time studies, Layouts, KPIs, Value Added/Non-Value-added Analysis, etc.).
- Ability to motivate teams and lead change within the organization.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Power Bi.
- Willingness to invest time and energy in continuous learning of lean principles and tools.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the implementation of operational improvement within a manufacturing environment is required.
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering with an emphasis in Lean Manufacturing.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD$80,000 - $110,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus.
