Louis Vuitton Continuous Improvement Engineer

The historic Asnières workshop is pivotal in crafting both supple and rigid leather goods for a global clientele.
- Propose and implement improvement actions on existing and new production lines, including critical analysis, simplification, and optimization of operations.
- Organize re-implementations and reduce inventory and work-in-progress.
- Enhance product quality and workstation ergonomics, and propose necessary operator training.
- Disseminate best practices and monitor actions over time.
- Lead projects on-site to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and ergonomics using Lean methods such as risk analysis, problem-solving, 5S, SMED, PDCA, and FMEA.
- Calculate potential gains, plan resources, manage schedules, and coordinate various stakeholders.
- Participate in the industrialization of new products by designing optimal operational ranges, calculating operational times, and overseeing the creation of outsourced tooling.
- Support production in scaling up operations.
- Diploma in a relevant field (Level 5 to Level 7) or equivalent professional experience in industrial methods or continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of workshop equipment and tools.
- Mastery of company processes and logistics chain.
- Interest in leather and leather goods industry.
- Analytical capability and methodological rigor.
- Critical thinking and flexibility.
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within an industrial setting, with hands-on experience in methods or continuous improvement.
Diploma in a relevant field (BTS, DUT, Master, or Engineering School).
