Louis Vuitton Assistant Designer — Women's Leather Goods (Internship)

1. Support the designer in researching trends, materials and inspirations for women's leather goods collections.
2. Contribute to the conception and illustration of pieces, producing technical and expressive sketches.
3. Participate in product development cycles, liaising with patternmakers and prototyping teams.
4. Provide technical assistance for the realisation of drawings and prototypes, ensuring fidelity to design intent.
5. Prepare presentation and technical documents for development meetings and internal reviews.
6. Assist, when required, with preparations for women's shows and related presentation activities.

1. Currently enrolled in a fashion design, product design or equivalent program with a focus or strong interest in leather goods.
2. Demonstrated mastery of technical drawing and fashion illustration.
3. Solid knowledge of leather goods construction and accessory vocabulary; modélisme/patternmaking is a plus.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of Rhinoceros (Rhino) is advantageous.
5. Fluent in French; good command of English and/or Italian to work within a multicultural team.
6. Strong aesthetic sensibility, creativity, proactivity, team orientation, rigour and organisational skills.

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Accessory Design, or a closely related discipline.
