- Ensure the accuracy of purchasing data for new projects, including coding, supplier assignment, and entry of pricing and logistics information into systems.
- Prepare quarterly supplier performance reviews and participate in various evaluations, analyzing key performance indicators.
- Organize and plan project meetings, including end-of-quarter reviews, risk analysis sessions, and capacity analysis meetings.
- Manage the launch of pre-series leathers and transformed leathers with suppliers, ensuring milestone tracking and KPI monitoring.
- Centralize and animate development schedules with suppliers, ensuring updates and optimization of existing tools.
- Facilitate communication with development teams, providing necessary planning information and addressing gaps.
- Enhance the reliability of existing tools through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct make-or-buy studies for charms and value analysis on projects to improve margins.
- Re-evaluate competition for certain permanent transformation families.
- Currently enrolled in a business or engineering school or equivalent program.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian is advantageous.
- Experience with Excel is recommended.
- Curious and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in raw material purchasing or within an industrial company is a plus.
