- Track outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments through communication with clients, stores, and departments.
- Support the finance and accounting team in reconciling the process from sales to incoming payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies under the guidance of senior staff.
- Support month-end closing activities, including preparing bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payments onto the banking system.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and assist with general ledger maintenance.
- Assist in researching and analyzing financial data.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the finance department.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned, which may include assisting with accounts payable functions.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits, credits, accrual-based accounting).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and contribute.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus but not mandatory.
