Louis Vuitton Accounting Manager

1. Lead and manage a team of accountants, ensuring accuracy in accounting books.
2. Ensure compliance with local fiscal and accounting regulations.
3. Control and implement company administrative policies.
4. Provide timely and precise accounting information to management.
5. Establish local financial statements, VAT returns, tax returns, and other local requirements.
6. Ensure accuracy and adequacy of accounting records across all areas, including sales, bank reconciliation, payroll, and tax.
7. Monitor fixed asset activities including activation, depreciation, and write-offs.
8. Oversee cash management and act as the key contact for the region with Paris HQ.
9. Handle VAT and Intrastat declarations as well as local statistical requests.
10. Prepare financial statements and tax returns.
11. Conduct group reporting for actuals, including balance sheet and trial balance, during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
12. Collaborate with financial controllers on IFRS entries.
13. Serve as the primary contact for accounting matters with Paris HQ.

1. Strong command of German and English.
2. Substantial previous experience in accounting in a similar role.
3. Experience in leading and developing a team.

1. Autonomous work ethic with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
2. Proficiency in MS Office.
3. SAP knowledge and/or experience is advantageous.
4. Analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.
5. Attention to detail and high standards.
6. Team player capable of building professional relationships in a multilingual and multicultural environment.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
