Louis Vuitton Accounting Manager

- Lead and manage a team of accountants, ensuring the accuracy of accounting books.
- Ensure compliance with local fiscal and accounting regulations.
- Implement and control the company's administrative policies.
- Provide timely and accurate accounting information to management.
- Establish local financial statements, VAT returns, tax returns, and other local requirements.
- Maintain accuracy and adequacy of accounting records across various areas including sales, bank reconciliation, payroll, and tax.
- Monitor fixed assets including activation, depreciation, and write-offs.
- Oversee cash management and act as the key contact for the region with Paris HQ.
- Manage VAT and Intrastat declarations and respond to local statistics requests.
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns.
- Conduct group reporting for actuals, including balance sheet and trial balance, and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Collaborate with financial controllers on IFRS entries, particularly IFRS 16.
- Serve as the primary contact for accounting matters with Paris HQ.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a team.
- Strong command of German and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge or experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Attention to detail and high standards.
- Ability to work autonomously with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Team player capable of building professional relationships in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar accounting role, with experience in team leadership and development.
