Louis Vuitton Accountant

- Manage accounting functions for Portugal and Israel entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines and processes.
- Book and process invoices, perform vendor reconciliation and clearing.
- Reconcile daily sales and accounts receivable.
- Record and review bank statements, preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow requirements for assigned entities.
- Ensure high-quality accounting information in line with local compliance and Group policies (IFRS).
- Produce monthly and yearly group financial reports.
- Participate actively in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure local compliance and manage tax declarations (VAT, WHT, CIT, local taxes), payments, and coordinate with tax authorities.
- Serve as the main contact with external partners regarding local taxes and regulations.
- Contribute to new projects involving finance, such as VAT changes and new tax reporting, in collaboration with external partners and IT teams.
- Facilitate financial audits and interactions with external auditors.
- Participate in store reviews, requiring occasional travel.
- Perform administrative tasks related to the accounting department and support other regional countries as needed.
- Degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a multinational company or group.
- Expertise in overall accounting processes with hands-on experience in month-end closing.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting within a multinational company or group is required.
Degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
