- Forecast and plan purchase budgets by season in collaboration with the Retail Planning Function.
- Manage all women's categories including Ready-to-Wear, Leather Goods, Shoes, and Accessories.
- Conduct biannual buying sessions at the Milan headquarters.
- Oversee product orders and review actual purchases against budget by category in cooperation with the Retail Planning Function.
- Ensure optimal allocation and reallocation of merchandise, supported by thorough analysis of store and customer profiles and local product/sales strategy.
- Develop and implement product sales strategies, from launch plans to liquidation management, ensuring alignment with Sales, Communications, and Visual Merchandising.
- Manage inventory and sell-through ratios to maximize sales, minimize inventory risks, and improve gross margins in collaboration with the Inventory Planner.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team, stores, and supporting functions to enhance sales through events and promotional activities.
- Regularly visit stores to reinforce sales strategies.
- Monitor delivery status and ensure timely store deliveries in collaboration with HQ Products Team and logistics.
- Share collection and product information with Visual Merchandising, Communications, and Retail teams.
- Prepare weekly store reports with sales trends, stock levels, and qualitative analysis.
- Conduct market and product analysis and report findings to Merchandising HQ.
- Collaborate with the product team on product development.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in women's wear.
- Relevant previous experience in retail.
- Strong project management skills with excellent multitasking, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
- Deep knowledge of clothing and luxury history.
- Proficient analytical and data analysis skills.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Passion and motivation for luxury products and brand identity.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
