1. Supervise and coordinate all architectural and construction activities for store renovations, minor works, or new store creations.
2. Contract and manage external consultants such as architects, engineers, contractors, and direct vendors.
3. Oversee costs, timing, and quality of projects throughout planning and construction phases.
4. Communicate project updates regularly with corporate and retail partners in North America and collaborate closely with the Central Store Planning team in Milan.
5. Prepare feasibility studies to evaluate locations and estimate budgets and schedules.
6. Collaborate with the Finance Department on budgets and the Procurement & Legal Departments on contracts.
7. Gather start-up information from corporate and local parties to develop the design brief in line with company commercial requirements.
8. Establish contact with LL architectural team to obtain location drawings, guidelines, and other necessary technical start-up information.
9. Evaluate and discuss lease and LL Work Letter with LL representation as required.
10. Coordinate with corporate designers to prepare location layouts that align with planned retail sales and organize internal reviews with all involved corporate and local teams.
11. Prepare and regularly update project budgets during development.
12. Coordinate closely with the Central Procurement team for RFPs, bidding, and award of consultants, supervising all activities and outcomes.
13. Organize and coordinate general contractors, storefront vendors, and millwork contractors bidding, evaluate tender documents, Bill of Quantities, and offers, negotiate, and coordinate work.
14. Manage all Direct Vendors orders, quotes, invoices, and logistics.
15. Review consultants and contractors drawings to ensure consistency with project and concept, from preliminary submission through shop drawings.
16. Visit construction sites and prepare reports from mobilization through punch list completion and opening, ensuring quality of construction and millwork installation, identifying outstanding issues, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
17. Archive all project-related deliverables on the Store Planning shared drive.
18. Collect as-built drawings, keep records of store opening information, finalize financial accounts closures, complete all close-out documents, collect lien waivers, and settle LL TA issues.
19. Oversee first-year warranty compliance of new or renovated stores and shops post-opening.

1. Degree in Architecture or Engineering
2. 8+ years of applicable retail experience in a comparable luxury company or similar architectural or construction management experience

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Photoshop, and all Office programs

8+ years of applicable retail experience in a comparable luxury company or similar architectural or construction management experience.

Degree in Architecture or Engineering

Loro Piana offers a competitive salary range from $120,000 to $130,000 USD per year, with flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.
