- Diagnose and address organizational needs to drive business results and career growth.
- Collaborate with the HR team on key projects and company-wide initiatives.
- Champion employee engagement and recognition programs across store locations.
- Provide guidance on all HR processes from selection to exit.
- Assess training and development needs for succession planning.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure positive candidate experiences.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Conduct fair investigations and maintain consistent documentation.
- Lead employee relations processes in collaboration with VP HR and legal counsel.
- Oversee coaching, counseling, and performance improvement plans.
- Manage exit processes and support managers during exit conversations.
- Conduct and support exit interviews as necessary.
- Develop and analyze people metrics and KPI dashboards.
- Identify trends in hiring, turnover, and labor costs.
- Ensure accuracy of organization charts and headcount.
- Forecast open positions for timely recruitment.
- Manage budget and purchase orders according to budget.
- Oversee the annual performance review process and new hire reviews.
- Conduct meetings with managers to strengthen skillsets.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years of experience in HR generalist/business partner capacity
- Proven multi-state Employee Relations experience (NY & CA required)
- Canada and LATAM experience a plus
- Strong mediation and documentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Understanding of a commission-driven sales environment
- Analytical thinking and fact-based problem solving
- Ability to provide and receive direct feedback with empathy
- Collaborative and effective business partnership skills
- Change management and navigation through ambiguity
- Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to travel as needed (10-20%)
Minimum of 6 years in an HR generalist or business partner role, with multi-state Employee Relations experience, particularly in New York and California. Experience in Canada and LATAM is advantageous.
Bachelor’s Degree
Salary range of $130,000.00 to $155,000.00 USD per year, with flexibility to pay outside this range.
