1. Oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities to finalization of accounts for four subsidiaries across the Middle East.
2. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and provisions.
3. Prepare and review monthly P&L and Balance Sheet in accordance with IFRS.
4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all general ledger accounts.
5. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
6. Act as procurement business partner and SAP Purchase Order key user, collaborating with functional department heads.
7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, IFRS principles, and local regulations.
9. Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for external auditors.
10. Support the Finance Manager and Finance Director with management reports and budget variance analysis.
11. Recommend process improvements for enhanced accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.
12. Ensure accuracy of accounting for VAT entries and timely submission of VAT returns to FTA.
13. Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations, including timely preparation and submission of tax returns.
14. Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities on corporate tax matters.
15. Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
16. Participate in cross-functional projects to improve business processes and systems.
17. Serve as a point of contact for accounting-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

1. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization, ideally in a fast-moving customer-facing environment.
2. BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
3. Relevant accounting certification preferred.

1. Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
2. Proven expertise in IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and treasury.
3. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
4. Advanced Excel skills.
5. Accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
