Loro Piana Manufacturing Deployment Engineer

- Support the definition of the strategic industrial plan, identifying short and long-term initiatives to enhance process flexibility and predictability, ensuring cost control and activity safety.
- Lead the industrial CAPEX process, prioritizing initiatives, compiling investment requests with business cases, managing budget progress, and overseeing project reporting.
- Conduct benchmarking of other industrial sectors, such as automotive and aerospace, to identify best practices for potential implementation in textile manufacturing processes.
- Align infrastructure investments with new technologies, including automation, robotics, IoT integration, and Industry 4.0/5.0 solutions.
- Act as an internal Project Manager, defining operational standards, tools, and methodologies for industrial project management.
- Supervise the entire project lifecycle, from requirement definition to investment request compilation, team formation, kick-off, implementation, and closure.
- Participate actively in project implementation on-site, conducting independent activities and technical inspections with department heads.
- Monitor and report project progress through KPIs and performance tracking tools.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure new initiatives are on time, on budget, and aligned with quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Identify external suppliers for integrating new industrial solutions, collaborating on technological requirements and coordinating activities during reporting phases.
- Promote the sharing of best practices and lessons learned to continuously improve efficiency in industrial project management.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial process improvement and CAPEX investment management within a structured industrial environment, preferably in the textile, automotive, or aerospace sectors, or in consultancy.
- Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional projects and implementing innovative industrial strategies.
- Experience in managing complex projects, defining objectives, timelines, and KPIs, and actively participating in their implementation on-site.
- Proficiency in budgeting and CAPEX management, with the ability to develop cost-benefit analyses for investments and process improvements.
- Expertise in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SQL) to drive decision-making.
- Problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and implement structured solutions.
- Familiarity with Industrial Digitalization technologies, including Industry 4.0 and 5.0, IoT sensors, AI-based predictive maintenance, and industrial automation, preferably applied to the textile sector.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Strategic vision to align industrial improvements with long-term business objectives.
- Fluency in English (C1 level); knowledge of French is an advantage.
