Loro Piana Jersey Fabric Designer

- Provide operational support in the creation and updating of technical and cost sheets, including the coding of necessary production data such as yarns, gauges, colors, and processes.
- Archive and organize historical articles, designs, and samples to support the construction and evolution of collections.
- Engage daily with external contractors (knitwear manufacturers and finishers) for material requests, progress tracking, modification management, and quality standard verification.
- Manage and coordinate internal requests related to sampling and prototyping, from preparation to dispatch and supervision of key stages.
- Collaborate with the team in the preparation of machine fabrics, utilizing internal software (ERP) and CAD tools for initial drafts or graphic variations.
- Work with the Planning team to align on development timelines and production needs.
- Participate in quality control activities on raw and finished fabrics in collaboration with finishing and quality control departments.
- Support in trips to suppliers and finishers for verification, development, and follow-up activities.
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in related roles (product back office, fabric development, design or production support), preferably in the fashion/textile sector.
- Familiarity with fabric fundamentals (structures, yarns, counts, gauges) or a strong motivation to learn them on the job.
- Possession of a B driving license and willingness to drive.
- Proficiency with digital and management tools (ERP, Excel), with a basic knowledge of textile CAD preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a practical mindset.
- Proactivity, passion for the product, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to manage activities independently.
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within the fashion or textile industry.
