Loro Piana Data Science Coordinator

- Ensure data consistency and quality to secure reliable client analysis and algorithms, collaborating closely with IT teams and external suppliers.
- Manage daily data operations, including data quality, client KPIs integration, and the implementation of predictive algorithms and big data projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into clear client metrics and insights.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns, sharing findings with top management and various departments using tools like Dataiku, GCP, and Power BI.
- Combine datasets to uncover insights and opportunities for business growth, translating analysis into actionable strategies and visually representing key findings.
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to enhance client strategies and engagement activities.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in data science, statistics, mathematics, or computer science, ideally with a business background.
- Proven experience in data science or a similar role, preferably within the luxury, fashion, or retail industry.
- Proficiency in data tools such as Power BI, Dataiku, SQL, SAS, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform, and Python.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to synthesize complex analytics into clear, concise communications tailored to diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, flexibility, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Minimum of 3 years in data science or a related field, with a preference for experience in the luxury or fashion industry.
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in data science, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
