- Coordinate the development and operation of customs processes, including simplified procedures and ERP implementation for export control, while formalizing best practices and operational guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive trade and customs compliance analyses to ensure efficient operations and product conformity for global market entry.
- Monitor critical export/import issues through preventive analysis and respond to additional requests from authorities during customs clearance.
- Support the Customs Certifications and Order Administration team on compliance issues related to CITES, COO, ATR, EUR1 certifications, and ATA/CPD carnets, interfacing with customs and governmental authorities.
- Assist in reviewing and consolidating master data management related to customs and trade compliance, considering customs simplification and new openings.
- Support the Finance team in managing TP Adjustments globally.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of KPIs for Industrial Controlling and Legal functions, covering duty planning, saving measures, and drawback, as well as drafting and maintaining customs and compliance procedures.
- Provide support for managing SABER compliance for the Saudi market.
- Coordinate customs activities related to EUDR regulations in collaboration with the Sustainability team.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customs and Trade Compliance
- In-depth understanding of customs requirements and global trade compliance regulations
- Ability to interpret worldwide customs and trade compliance regulations
- Experience in engaging with relevant authorities in Italy and internationally
- Proven ability to maintain and implement worldwide Customs and Trade Compliance standards and projects
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and engagement abilities
- Proficiency in data management and ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
A minimum of 3 years in Customs and Trade Compliance, with proven expertise in engaging with both Italian and international authorities.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Law, or a related field.
