Loro Piana Accounts Receivable and Customs Compliance Specialist

- Manage the acquisition of proof of delivery for intra-community and extra-community transactions to ensure definitive VAT exemption.
- Administer Declarations of Intent and monitor customer credit limits.
- Collaborate in periodic VAT settlements and the preparation of annual VAT declarations and periodic settlements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of VAT-related accounting records.
- Compile and submit Intrastat forms for intra-EU sales and purchase operations.
- Monitor and record incoming payments, performing account reconciliations.
- Manage external auditor confirmations.
- Issue non-core active invoices.
- Provide support for monthly accounting closures.
- Offer technical support during tax audits and civil audits in close collaboration with the Tax department.
- Provide specialized technical assistance and consultancy on fiscal and customs matters, supporting international sales operations.
- Collaborate with the credit office to analyze and manage unusual or obsolete accounts.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Economics or related fields.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in similar roles, preferably in companies with significant import/export activities.
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and OIC accounting principles.
- Proficiency in SAP (FI-SD modules) and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic international environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Economics or related fields.
