- Define and lead the store design strategy, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and global standards, while integrating innovative design trends and sustainability practices.
- Oversee the creation of concept designs, layout plans, and schematic design packages for new stores, remodels, and renovations, ensuring the highest standards of design and execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (merchandising, operations, marketing) and external vendors (architects, engineers, consultants) to create cohesive, functional, and visually compelling retail environments.
- Manage multiple store design projects simultaneously from concept to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery while maintaining high design standards.
- Ensure all retail environments reflect the company’s brand identity, values, and customer experience goals, while tailoring solutions to local markets as needed.
- Develop and maintain global store design playbooks, guidelines, and standards to ensure design consistency across all regions and markets.
- Drive innovation in store design with a focus on sustainability, new materials, and technologies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in retail store design, space planning, and project management.
- Proven expertise in designing and executing retail design projects, remodels, and new retail environments on a global scale.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet or similar tools.
- Experience working with sustainability principles and implementing environmentally responsible design solutions.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Good understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and construction best practices.
- Detail-oriented, problem-solver, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
A minimum of 7 years in retail store design, space planning, and project management, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in retail environments.
Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
