- Direct the movement of all merchandise entering and exiting the store, ensuring compliance with shipping/receiving policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory in an organized, secure, and efficient manner.
- Support sales staff by providing merchandise from stock as needed.
- Anticipate and address merchandise maintenance needs, offering proactive solutions for space and storage issues.
- Manage packaging levels and order replenishments based on business needs.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly ticketed.
- Participate in inventory preparation, completion, and reconciliation processes.
- Manage and process inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments according to policies.
- Complete paperwork and procedures related to inventory maintenance accurately.
- Collaborate with management for replenishment of sold-out styles.
- Assist in general housekeeping and store image maintenance.
- Support visual merchandising and operational needs, including moving and storing fixtures and props.
- Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, including cleaning and repairs.
- Participate in visual merchandising maintenance due to sell-through.
- Assist other departments, including the selling floor, as requested by store management.
- Exemplify brand values when assisting customers.
- Ensure high standards in packaging client merchandise.
- Lead client delivery processes, including troubleshooting missing deliveries.
- Document deliveries, track, and locate merchandise as necessary.
- Follow up on shipping, alteration, or other client-related issues.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Exposure to luxury retail preferred.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
The compensation ranges from $24 to $27 per hour, contingent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
