- Direct the movement of all merchandise entering and exiting the store, ensuring compliance with shipping/receiving policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory in an organized, efficient, and secure manner.
- Support sales staff by providing merchandise that is in stock but not on the sales floor.
- Anticipate merchandise maintenance needs and proactively address space and storage issues.
- Manage packaging levels and order replenishments as needed.
- Ensure all merchandise is ticketed appropriately.
- Participate in the preparation and completion of inventories and cycle counts.
- Engage in the inventory reconciliation process.
- Process inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments according to company policies.
- Complete paperwork and procedures related to inventory maintenance, including handling damages and RTVs.
- Collaborate with management for replenishment of sold-out styles.
- Assist in general housekeeping and maintenance of store image.
- Support visual, merchandising, and operations needs, including moving and storing fixtures and props.
- Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, including cleaning and repair.
- Participate in visual merchandising and regular maintenance due to sell-through.
- Assist other departments, including the selling floor, as needed.
- Exemplify brand values when assisting customers.
- Ensure the highest standards in packaging client merchandise.
- Oversee the client delivery process, including troubleshooting missing deliveries.
- Document and track client deliveries, locating merchandise when necessary.
- Follow up consistently on shipping, alteration, or other client-related issues.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years required.
- Exposure to luxury retail is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
