- Direct the movement of all merchandise entering and exiting the store, ensuring compliance with shipping and receiving policies.
- Maintain inventory in an organized, clean, and secure manner.
- Support sales staff by providing merchandise from stock not displayed on the sales floor.
- Anticipate and address merchandise maintenance needs, providing proactive solutions for space and storage issues.
- Maintain packaging levels and order replenishments as needed.
- Ensure all merchandise is appropriately ticketed.
- Participate in the timely preparation and completion of inventories and cycle counts.
- Manage and process inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments according to company policies.
- Complete all paperwork and procedures related to inventory maintenance accurately.
- Collaborate with management for replenishment of sold-out styles.
- Assist in maintaining the store's image through general housekeeping.
- Support visual, merchandising, and operational needs by moving and storing fixtures and merchandise.
- Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, including cleaning and repairs.
- Participate in visual merchandising and regular maintenance due to sell-through.
- Assist other departments, including the sales floor, as needed.
- Exemplify brand values when assisting customers.
- Ensure the highest standards in packaging client merchandise.
- Lead the client delivery process, including troubleshooting missing deliveries.
- Document client deliveries and track merchandise as necessary.
- Follow up on shipping, alterations, or other client-related issues.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Exposure to luxury retail preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar operations role, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
The compensation for this position ranges from $19 to $26 per hour, dependent on the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
