- Direct the movement of all merchandise entering and exiting the store, ensuring adherence to shipping/receiving policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized manner.
- Support sales staff by providing merchandise that is in stock but not on the sales floor.
- Anticipate merchandise maintenance needs and offer proactive solutions to space and storage issues.
- Maintain packaging levels and order replenishments in anticipation of business needs.
- Ensure all merchandise is ticketed.
- Participate in the timely preparation and completion of all inventories and cycle counts.
- Engage actively in the inventory reconciliation process.
- Manage and process all inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments according to policies and procedures.
- Complete all paperwork and procedures related to inventory maintenance accurately.
- Partner with management for replenishment of sold-out styles.
- Assist in general housekeeping and maintenance of the store image.
- Support visual, merchandising, and operations needs, including moving and storing fixtures and merchandise.
- Participate in visual merchandising, including regular maintenance due to sell-through.
- Assist other departments, including the selling floor, as needed.
- Exemplify the core values of the brand when assisting customers.
- Ensure the highest standards while packaging client merchandise.
- Lead all aspects of the client delivery process, including troubleshooting missing deliveries.
- Document all deliveries to clients and track merchandise as necessary.
- Consistently follow up with any shipping, alteration, or other client-related issues.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Exposure to luxury retail preferred.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
