Kering Venture Capital Analyst Intern

- Develop relationships with international venture capital firms and internal/external networks to build and qualify the investment opportunity pipeline.
- Identify and engage with top investment opportunities aligned with Kering's investment strategy.
- Meet with entrepreneurs and teams to assess their fit with Kering's investment strategy.
- Support the team in the due diligence process, including note-taking during meetings, reference checks, drafting investment memos, evaluating technology and business models, conducting sector research, analyzing competition and barriers to entry, and identifying associated risks.
- Monitor the portfolio and produce/update periodic performance tracking reports.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to accelerate the success of the portfolio, including potential partnerships or synergies within the group.
- Gather insights from industry experts, update the knowledge base, and create high-quality industry content for internal and external purposes.
- Participate in startup meetings, community events, sector conferences, and contribute to organizing unique events.
- Completed at least one prior internship, ideally in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or technology and innovation sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with developed conceptual abilities, business acumen, and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal skills, and a willingness to present well-founded investment opportunities.
- Organizational skills with extraordinary attention to detail and strong project management abilities.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to manage relationships with discernment and empathy.
- Ability to work with senior management.
- Fluency in French and English.
Prior internship experience in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or technology and innovation sectors is required.
