Kering Trade Compliance Specialist

- Monitor and interpret trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements in the US and Canada.
- Ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with government agencies such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Canada Border Services Agency.
- Facilitate compliance communication with relevant agencies, including FDA and EPA.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate compliance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and enhance compliance procedures.
- Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to trade compliance policies.
- Provide training and guidance on trade compliance matters.
- Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, with a focus on US and Canada.
- Customs Broker’s License.
- In-depth knowledge of US and Canadian import/export regulations.
- Strong understanding of customs procedures and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with trade management software and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
A minimum of 3-5 years in trade compliance, with a focus on US and Canadian regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Relations, or related field.
$85,000 - $95,000 per year plus incentives.
