Kering Trade Compliance Specialist

- Stay informed on trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements in the US and Canada.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of import and export transactions.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Interface with government agencies such as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Canada Border Services Agency.
- Facilitate communication and compliance with agencies involved in trade, including FDA and EPA.
- Conduct risk assessments related to trade compliance and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and enhance compliance procedures.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to trade compliance policies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on trade compliance matters.
- Analyze data to draw strategic conclusions for corrective action.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years in trade compliance, with a focus on the US and Canada
- Customs Broker’s License
- In-depth knowledge of US and Canadian import/export regulations
- Strong understanding of customs procedures and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with trade management software and systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
A minimum of 3-5 years in trade compliance, preferably focusing on both the US and Canada.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Relations, or a related field.
