Kering Tax Director

- Lead a team of 10 full-time employees responsible for direct and indirect tax compliance in the US and Canada.
- Collaborate with external consultants to manage tax compliance in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
- Ensure adherence to international and local statutory tax accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the integrity and quality of tax financial data.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for tax accounting across Kering Houses.
- Manage internal and external audits for federal and state taxes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of tax reporting.
- Participate actively in financial transformation and digitalization projects.
- Oversee transfer pricing processes, including documentation and customs duties.
- Assess tax impacts on complex corporate transactions and new business ventures.
- Monitor tax legislation and assess its impact on Kering and its subsidiaries.
- Provide strategic guidance on taxes and customs duties to maximize cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with international tax regulations, including BEAT, Minimum Tax, and GILTI.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA, Master's Degree, or Law degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in international tax compliance within a multinational organization.
- Deep understanding of US and Canadian tax laws.
- Working knowledge of Mexican and Brazilian tax laws is advantageous.
- Strong expertise in transfer pricing.
- In-depth knowledge of GILTI, BEAT, and Minimum Tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills for interpreting complex tax laws.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex tax concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
10+ years of experience in international tax compliance within a complex, multinational organization.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA, Master's Degree, or Law degree preferred.
$240,000 - $280,000 per year plus incentives.
