- Manage day-to-day Record to Report retail activities for accounts receivable, fixed assets, variable rent, and sales, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Support the transition towards continuous accounting and monthly closing by utilizing new tools and processes.
- Perform cash collection from store registers and reconcile credit card transactions across retail, distant sales, and e-commerce channels, including reconciliation of transitory accounts.
- Assist in the implementation of new programs and systems.
- Identify areas for improvement and assist in process enhancements and internal controls.
- Provide month-end tax calculations.
- Establish strong relationships with brand finance teams to deliver expected service levels.
- Conduct travel expenses analysis.
- High school diploma required; a university degree in economics is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in General Ledger Accounting and Controlling with a solid understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations.
- Ability to manage finance process improvements, standardization initiatives, and finance system implementations, preferably with SAP, Hyperion, and R2R tools such as Blackline.
- IT and process-driven professional with working knowledge of Power BI and SAP.
- Full proficiency in English and Italian, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.
Relevant experience in General Ledger Accounting and Controlling, preferably within shared services or complex matrix organizations.
High school diploma required; a university degree in economics is advantageous.
