Kering Payroll Specialist

- Process bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer off-cycle payments, pay adjustments, clothing allowances, tuition reimbursements, garnishments, and final payments.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and brands, providing accurate information and resolving concerns.
- Identify, research, and resolve payroll discrepancies effectively.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to manage checks, approvals, and specific payrolls for terminations, bonuses, and other one-off payments.
- Handle post-payroll reporting and processes, including resolving errors, uploading journals, and providing reports to brands and finance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including tax and labor laws.
- Reorganize, process, and prepare FedEx checks for mailing.
- Communicate key dates to brand teams, ensuring adherence to payroll deadlines.
- Review payroll processing systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage the payroll calendar and enforce deadlines, ensuring all data is correctly entered into the payroll system.
- Investigate and resolve payroll errors promptly.
- Stay updated on new legislation and regulatory rulings impacting payroll, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and best practices.
- Audit employees working in NY but residing in non-commutable states.
- Run calculations in accordance with defined rules, managing local taxes and social contributions.
- Run audit reports after payroll has been committed.
- Manage Kering Connect Ticketing System requests.
- Provide finance with G/L and other reports.
- Review ACH Debits from Dayforce Tax Service.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.
- Strong time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with queries, internal/external payroll reporting, and audit procedures.
- Working knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to research and interpret payroll-related topics and adapt to new information.
- Problem-solving skills and comfort working independently.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
