Kering Payroll Manager

- Oversee the management of 20 payrolls for 1,600 employees across the UK and Ireland.
- Continuously review and improve payroll processes to ensure best practices and compliance with legislation.
- Act as a Payroll Business Partner, providing operational and functional support to brands.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with Brand Payroll and HR Managers.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including the payroll provider.
- Support budgeting processes and financial cycles.
- Monitor accuracy and delivery standards, ensuring compliance with service agreements.
- Evaluate payroll metrics to identify focus areas for business support.
- Collaborate with the Benefits Manager on HMRC-related topics.
- Process approximately 300-400 P11Ds annually and PSAs for each brand.
- Lead internal and external audits related to payroll activities.
- Establish new payroll elements and ensure correct financial setups.
- Conduct payroll inductions for new starters and educate employees through workshops.
- Support the Head of UK&I HRSS in implementing new initiatives and business models.
- Lead and supervise the Payroll Team, setting objectives and planning activities.
- Provide guidance and support across all payroll disciplines.
- Foster strong business relationships to enhance service efficiency.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple payrolls, ideally within retail.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Confidence in managing and executing multiple projects.
- Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Curiosity and confidence to challenge and improve payroll practices.
- Leadership skills to guide a knowledgeable payroll team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relevant degree or CIPP qualification.
