- Support General Ledger accounting functions and assist in developing closing procedures.
- Establish tasks and timetables for accurate journal entry creation and postings.
- Review monthly journal entries to ensure proper recording of accounting transactions.
- Record payroll, accrual, and other journal entries.
- Code accounts for electronic accounting to comply with local tax authorities.
- Support general activities of the Accounts Payable cycle, including data entry of invoices and weekly pay run processes.
- Manage fixed assets, track existing assets, record depreciation, and account for acquisitions and dispositions.
- Reconcile the fixed asset module to the general ledger monthly.
- Perform reconciliation of capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Record cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Control insurance and record amortizations.
- Calculate intercompany services recharge and perform intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare year-end balance closing journal entries.
- Upload financial data into Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) monthly.
- Analyze sales and collection information for each brand.
- Perform sales reconciliations and prepare tax files.
- Review mismatch reports and checks in HFM at month-end.
- Report profit and loss in corporate and store scenarios in HFM.
- Utilize Navision for financial management tasks.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in English (80%)
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel
