Kering General Accountant - German Speaker

- Manage daily accounting operations for German retail entities within the group.
- Prepare financial statements and analyze financial data.
- Participate in monthly, semi-annual, and annual closings for German entities.
- Prepare monthly reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage fixed assets and review taxation, including VAT and other local taxes.
- Coordinate with German tax experts for statutory adjustments and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with brand controllers, external auditors, and tax advisors.
- Monitor and enhance internal controls to ensure data integrity.
- Lead and participate in R2R process improvement projects.
- Serve as the accounting liaison for German operations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a general accountant, preferably in a shared service environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong adaptability and teamwork capabilities.
- Interest in ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting, ideally within a shared service center.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
